Family Promise Presents a Benefit Concert with Ken Medema!

 

We are excited to announce that Family Promise (IHN) is planning a benefit/fundraising concert featuring singer and song writer, Ken Medema. Ken hears with his heart and sings the stories back to audiences of all ages. Ken wrote and produced a CD especially for Family Promise; the chorus was recorded by our local families and volunteers at Grace Episcopal. This concert will take place at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, June 13th at 3:00pm, 1675 84th. For more infomartion see the event info.

 

 

7th Annual Golf Marathon a Success!

 

On Monday, the rain was coming down sideways, the wind was blowing, and the air was chilled, but despite the elements, 15 golfers had a fun day of golf and raised over $36,000 for Family Promise. What a blessing! Thank you to the golfers, and thank you to all you who pledged. We also want to thank the sponsers of this event for helping to make it possbile.

 

 

New Family Promise of Grand Rapids

 

Thank you to all the pastors and coordinators who came out to our Pastors Appreciation Breakfast last week! At the breakfast, we unveiled our new name as well as our new programs and their growing success. We ask that all commitments to continue supporting Family Promise in 2010 be in by June 1, 2009.
